Allens Asphalt has had a positive decision notice by the Sunshine Coast Regional Council, for the proposed Caloundra Asphalt Plant.  The development application has been approved and conditions provided, along with approval to begin works at the site. The new plant will be located on a large 12,000m³ block in the Caloundra Industrial Estate at Corbauld Park. 

Allens is presently finalising the details of the state-of-the-art asphalt plant, which will be capable of  over 200 T/hr, RAP, Warm Mix, and will have substantial overhead hot asphalt storage.  The plant will provide an on demand, high quality product to our customers, and to our contracting business.  This plant will exceed all environmental requirements, after having undergone a rigorous and comprehensive approval process. The Plant represents a significant long term investment in the Sunshine Coast by Allens Asphalt.  It is planned to be operational by mid 2012. 

The Project Manager Mike Davidson is well advanced in delivering the project. This is great news for Allens and our customers, and will enable us to continue to grow and strengthen the business.

In the interim, Allen's will continue to service the Sunshine Coast from the Caboolture asphalt plant.
